Free Lego Coloring Pages!

3 Comments

077Hi everyone! To date I have written about 70 pages for my next book in what will become a Nephilim book series. There will be four books in all; the first, Nephilim the Remnants, is already published and available now, the second I am currently working on, and two more- one of which will be a pre-quel to Nephilim the Remants. All the books will be stand alone stories by themselves, but will have carry-over characters from the original book.

In the mean time, I have recently created a Lego coloring book for my three boys to color in while we were on vacation. I have made other coloring books for them before but this time I decided to created a Lego coloring book and thought that I would share it with all the Faith Builders fans out there. There are over 100 different Lego style coloring pages! So pick and choose your favorites or color them all!

Note – I did not draw any of these images myself, rather I scoured the web for free lego and building block related coloring pages and compiled them all together into a single PDF file for you to download here for free.

You can always go and search the web for your own lego coloring pages but here at Faith Builders, we have saved you the time, energy, and work of searching for them.

2 Comments

Welcome to the Day 3 of Valentine’s Day Heart Lego Project.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by the last two days, we have had fun making our lego heart projects with you and your family :). If you missed out on Day 1,  check it out here. If you missed Day 2, check it out here. For Day 3 we will be making a magnet lego heart personalized with a loved ones’ photo. Don’t forget to come back tomorrow for the launch of the {FREE} Faith Builders Curriculum.

FaithBuilders_Day3

Step 1: Create a lego heart. You can use whatever pieces you have on hand. This is a little different from Day 1, so we will need additional smaller lego pieces for the heart.

Step 2: Gather your supplies: lego heart, double-sided tape, magnet strip, scissors, and photo. Don’t forget you can use an old magnet that you don’t need anymore.

Step 3: Put the double-sided tape on the magnet, then attach to the back of heart. Next, cut out your photo and place on front of heart. Lastly, I made a love note that the heart magnet would hold for my children to see on the refrigerator. Telling our children how much Jesus loves them, can never be overstated. {Jesus LOVES you}

We hope this will make your Valentine’s Day be filled more with God’s love! If you want to know the reason for what we do, click here. If you missed Day 1 project, click here. If you missed Day 2, check it out here. Come back tomorrow for the launch of Faith Builders Bible Curriculum. Feel free to share our link on Facebook or pin it on Pinterest.

VD1_1Thank you to our friend, Joy, who sent us these adorable photos of her little guy enjoying his heart from Day 1 of Faith Builders Heart Lego Project. Joy did not have the exact lego pieces as shown, but it did not stop her by creating her very own lego heart. Thank you Joy for sharing this with us, he is adorable!

I need to brag on our friend a bit…. Joy has an incredible blog called Joy2Sew, which is all about sewing, crafts and family! Currently she is designing an Elsa sewing pattern from the movie Frozen. And she has already designed  a pattern of Princess Anna inspired from the Disney Frozen movie. Check her out at Joy2Sew.blogspot.com 🙂

Faith Builders Heart Lego Project – Day 1

Are you searching for some cool lego projects for your kids this Valentine’s Day? Well, we have it here! This is the 1st day of our 3 day kick-off of Faith Builders Heart Lego Project.

{ GOD is LOVE } Faith Builders Valentine’s Day Heart Lego Project

Step 1: Assemble a heart made of legos (look below if you need help). We have a lot of legos, but find it difficult to get all red pieces, so don’t feel that you have to make a red heart, make it whatever colors you choose.  What makes this heart special and unique is using lego compartment pieces with opening doors to build the heart.

Step 2: Write small love notes using pieces of paper. You can get your child involved or you can write it for them. The verse that came to my mind once David designed the heart and gave it to me, was Psalms 119:11, “I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” We love teaching our children about God’s Word through the use of legos. Then of course add some small candies with your love notes “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” Psalm 34:8a

Step 3: Simply fold up your love notes and put some candies into the lego compartment pieces. Then close your heart’s doors.

Step 4: Give it to your loved one! My older son made his heart during his Bible time, and used the verse card below for his weekly verse memorization. Then were able to discuss more about hiding God’s word in his heart, and what that means. My younger son loved his heart from daddy and mommy 🙂 You can also have your children make them for each other or for a parent, grandparent or friends.

We hope this will make your Valentine’s Day filled with God’s love! If you want to know the reason for what we do, click here. Come back tomorrow for day 2 of Faith Builders Valentine’s Day Lego Project. Feel free to share our link on Facebook or pin it on Pinterest.

– Curriculum Built on Faith + Bible + Legos –

We are really excited to share this news with you! We are one week away from the launch of Faith Builders curriculum by David A. Henderson, author of Nephilim the Remnants. In preparation of launching this new curriculum we are going to be sharing 3 Days of 3 heart lego projects, since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner.  Since God is the Author and Creator of love, we know without Him, we would not know love. 1 John 4:16 says,  “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”

Stay tuned for our roll-out of the 3 days of Heart Lego Projects for Valentines’s Day coming this Monday, January 27, 2014. { GOD is LOVE }

The Armor of God Bible Study is geared for 3rd grade and up. The study includes:

• 7 Day Study of the Armor of God
• Certificate of Completion for students
• Wallet reminder card for student to keep
• Verse memorization notecards

This 15 page Armor of God study is the result of  a homeschool project my wife and I prepared for my son. My wife Johanna had asked me to draw up a man wearing the Armor of God based on Ephesians 6:13-17. Then I drew the character Sir Daniel, from my book  Nephilim the Remnants in the full armor of God and she took that image and ran with it, developing a 7 day study on the passage. We started homeschooling our fourth grade son last year. We realized how much freedom we had with teaching him deeper studies of the Bible in a way that he loved to learn about the Lord.

Although, we imagined this study being used for homeschoolers, anyone can actually do the Armor of God study.  “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12. I pray that you and your family will feel the love of the Lord drawing you close to Him as you do this study. He loves you! Download your {FREE} Armor of God Bible Study here!

This is a {FREE} Bible study on the Armor of God because upon writing this study, we began feeling a deep desire to give back to the Lord and to others what He showed us through the scriptures about the Armor of God. And since we have enjoyed the benefits of free online studies from others, we wanted to share and do the same!

If you have not read Nephilim the Remnants, you can purchase this  novel for $4.99 as a e-book (PDF download) here.
