New Faith Builders – Coming Soon!

2 Comments

Layout 1That’s right! Due to the overwhelming response to my original Faith Builders lessons, I decided to answer the call. I have received numerous requests from my Faith Builders fans to make more lessons and I am pleased to announce that more are on the way!

I hope you are all as excited as I am because I’m currently finishing up the last of the new Faith Builders lessons now. There is still work to be done but I will be combining the new Faith Builders lessons with the current ones in the form of a book. This new Faith Builders book will have at least 17 different Bible based lessons each with two different hands on building projects that really drive home the lesson. It will also contain directions in the form of color pictograms on how to build the lego projects that go with each lesson. It’s going to be great!faith builders

Now for those interested in the backstory behind Faith Builders, let me share with you– What began as quality time playing legos with my three boys was soon transformed by a simple prayer; “Lord, how can I use building legos for You and your glory?” And from that prayer the Lord birthed Faith Builders– a Bible and building club for kids.

The kids would come with their legos and meet at the church one night a week to build lego projects and learn about God. All of the building projects were creatively tailored to relate to the Bible lessons. And shortly after finishing the Faith Builders club, I decided to make the lessons available here at NephilimTheRemnants.com   (over 17,000 downloads worldwide and counting). And now, new Faith Builders lessons are coming soon! So stay tuned for more updates.

Now to my Nephilim the Remnants fans, don’t think that I have forgotten about you because I am about midway through writing my second Nephilim novel. And on top of that I have begun writing on the third and fourth Nephilim books, as well. If you would like to help me in this writing process, please pray with me for the Lord to speak through me with His Holy Spirit to convey His messages through my stories. I thank you for your prayers and I’m excited to see what all God has planned!

Welcome to the Day 3 of Valentine’s Day Heart Lego Project.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by the last two days, we have had fun making our lego heart projects with you and your family :). If you missed out on Day 1,  check it out here. If you missed Day 2, check it out here. For Day 3 we will be making a magnet lego heart personalized with a loved ones’ photo. Don’t forget to come back tomorrow for the launch of the {FREE} Faith Builders Curriculum.

FaithBuilders_Day3

Step 1: Create a lego heart. You can use whatever pieces you have on hand. This is a little different from Day 1, so we will need additional smaller lego pieces for the heart.

Step 2: Gather your supplies: lego heart, double-sided tape, magnet strip, scissors, and photo. Don’t forget you can use an old magnet that you don’t need anymore.

Step 3: Put the double-sided tape on the magnet, then attach to the back of heart. Next, cut out your photo and place on front of heart. Lastly, I made a love note that the heart magnet would hold for my children to see on the refrigerator. Telling our children how much Jesus loves them, can never be overstated. {Jesus LOVES you}

We hope this will make your Valentine’s Day be filled more with God’s love! If you want to know the reason for what we do, click here. If you missed Day 1 project, click here. Step 1: This project is super easy IF you have the correct pieces. We found these pieces from a camper or truck legos.

Step 2: Put both lego pieces together to make a heart. You can make a necklace, or wrist bracelet with ribbon or leather.

We hope this will make your Valentine’s Day filled with God’s love! If you want to know the reason for what we do, click here. If you missed Day 1 project, click here. VD1_1Thank you to our friend, Joy, who sent us these adorable photos of her little guy enjoying his heart from Day 1 of Faith Builders Heart Lego Project. Joy did not have the exact lego pieces as shown, but it did not stop her by creating her very own lego heart. Thank you Joy for sharing this with us, he is adorable!

I need to brag on our friend a bit…. Joy has an incredible blog called Joy2Sew, which is all about sewing, crafts and family! Currently she is designing an Elsa sewing pattern from the movie Frozen. And she has already designed  a pattern of Princess Anna inspired from the Disney Frozen movie. Check her out at Joy2Sew.blogspot.com 🙂

Faith Builders Heart Lego Project – Day 1

Are you searching for some cool lego projects for your kids this Valentine’s Day? Well, we have it here! This is the 1st day of our 3 day kick-off of Faith Builders Heart Lego Project.

Step 1: Assemble a heart made of legos (look below if you need help). We have a lot of legos, but find it difficult to get all red pieces, so don’t feel that you have to make a red heart, make it whatever colors you choose.  What makes this heart special and unique is using lego compartment pieces with opening doors to build the heart.

Step 2: Write small love notes using pieces of paper. You can get your child involved or you can write it for them. The verse that came to my mind once David designed the heart and gave it to me, was Psalms 119:11, “I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” We love teaching our children about God’s Word through the use of legos. Then of course add some small candies with your love notes “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” Psalm 34:8a

Step 3: Simply fold up your love notes and put some candies into the lego compartment pieces. Then close your heart’s doors.

Step 4: Give it to your loved one! My older son made his heart during his Bible time, and used the verse card below for his weekly verse memorization. Then were able to discuss more about hiding God’s word in his heart, and what that means. My younger son loved his heart from daddy and mommy 🙂 You can also have your children make them for each other or for a parent, grandparent or friends.

We hope this will make your Valentine’s Day filled with God’s love! If you want to know the reason for what we do, click here. Come back tomorrow for day 2 of Faith Builders Valentine’s Day Lego Project. Feel free to share our link on Facebook or pin it on Pinterest.

– Curriculum Built on Faith + Bible + Legos –

We are really excited to share this news with you! We are one week away from the launch of Faith Builders curriculum by David A. Henderson, author of Nephilim the Remnants. In preparation of launching this new curriculum we are going to be sharing 3 Days of 3 heart lego projects, since Valentine’s Day is right around the corner.  Since God is the Author and Creator of love, we know without Him, we would not know love. 1 John 4:16 says,  “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”

Stay tuned for our roll-out of the 3 days of Heart Lego Projects for Valentines’s Day coming this Monday, January 27, 2014. { GOD is LOVE }
